A Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) payment is based on IBAN, the international account number. As euro countries migrate to SEPA, they use IBAN for domestic payments. This means that tenants will have to use IBAN also when making a domestic payment from an account held in a euro country inside SEPA. SEPA means common rules for payments in euro within the EU, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, Monaco and San Marino, Andorra and the Vatican City State. It takes maximum of 14 working days for transaction to be settled in storage owners bank account.
For using direct debits during online move in firstly turn on the Direct Debit option in the PMS . This can be done by navigating to Setting >> Move-in >> Payments >> then turn on Direct Debit for tenant portal.
Step1: Choose the required unit to rent. Choose the addons if necessary.
Step2: After login, fill in the tenant’s details and moving to next step. In the final step of the online move in process there is an option to make payments. Click on Pay Now, here is an option to choose credit/debit card or Direct Debits.
When the tenant selects the direct debit option he needs to type in the IBAN details.
NOTE:
- The IBAN that is used will be saved and used for Automatic payments.
- For the existing tenant the most recently used transaction method will be used as auto billing preference.
