Any service you add to your storage units comes under these three service types.

Invoice based

Description automatically generatedInvoice-based services are charged based on the billing cycle of the lease. If a tenant buys a service for their unit, they will have to pay for the acquired service only at the time their invoice gets generated.

Example scenario:

If a tenant who receives their invoice quarterly, buys a service such as ‘Electricity’ for their unit, they can benefit from the service, and they will have to pay for that service along with the rent for the unit (charges for the service will be calculated in their invoice, according to their invoice period).

Unit based

Unit-based services are some services that may be available only in certain units of a facility but may not be available Diagram

Description automatically generated with medium confidencein the other units.

Example scenario:

A facility may contain 15 units, out of which, if only 5 units may be equipped with an ‘automatic climatic control system.’ If a tenant rents one of those five units, they will have to pay for the ‘climate control’ service along with the rent. However, if they rent a unit that is not equipped with the ‘climate control system’, apparently the service will not be available. Certain services like this are considered unit-based.

Certain services which tenants can purchase and utilize only once will also have to pay for that purchase only once; while the availed service will not recur unless tenants opt to acquire the service for another time. Precisely, tenants pay for the service which they can utilize and pay for only one time.

Example scenario:

If a tenant requires a service such as ‘Cleaning’ for their unit, they can utilize the service only once and pay for that instance alone. The availed service will not recur unless the tenant pays for the service yet another time.
