[What's New? / Release Notes](https://help.6storage.com/knowledge-base/whats-new-release-notes?hsLang=en) October 6, 2026 # Release Notes: October 5 , 2026 ## New for Version 3.0.98 This release introduces several key enhancements across the **Admin Portal** and **Rental Portal**, including mobile optimization for the Rental Portal, receipt improvements, new document macros, and various support ticket fixes. **Admin Portal** - **Sitemap** 1. Updated the sitemap to allow saving when units overlap. - **Reservation** 1. Added sorting functionality to the **Desired Move-in Date** column. - **Tenant Profile** 1. Increased the maximum file size allowed for uploads under the **Other** tab. 2. **Resume Fee/services** 1. Recurring fees/services will no longer be applied to future invoices when they are paused. 2. Added a **Resume** option for stopped recurring fees/services. 3. Once fees/services are resumed, they will be included in future invoices. 3. Enhancements 1. Billing information is now displayed on iOS devices. 2. Implemented SSN field masking functionality. 3. Restricted the characters allowed in gate codes. 4. Added a bulk action to enable or disable Auto-Invoice for all tenants at once. 5. The Content Coverage badge is now displayed based on whether the lease has content coverage. 6. Added print functionality to the **Email** tab. - **Transfer** 1. Implemented backdated transfers by allowing the transfer date to be selected from the latest invoice period start date. - **Move-in** 1. Vehicle categories will not be displayed during move-in when all vehicle fields for that category are disabled. - **Mass Messaging** 1. Added sorting for the tenant's name - **Task** 1. Prevented duplicate tasks from being created to assign an overlock when the lease is already overlocked. - **Delinquency** 1. Added two additional delinquency boards based on the **Access Control** and **Overlock** settings. - **Settings** 1. **Reservation Preferences** 1. Added support for entering **0** as the number of days for Reservation Expiration. 2. **Tax Settings** 1. Added validation for Tax Type Names: - Numbers cannot be entered at the beginning of the tax type name. - Special characters are not allowed in the tax type name. 3. **Custom Fields** 1. Added handling for special characters when replacing values in custom field macros. 4. **Invoice Preferences** 1. Scheduled move-out leases will now be included in Auto-Invoice processing based on the configured settings. 2. Implemented the **Cutoff Day** setting. - The following changes apply only when the invoice period is **Monthly** and the billing cycle starts on the **first day of the month**: - **Admin Portal – Move-in:** When enabled, the Additional Period is automatically set to 1. The user can change the Additional Period to 0. - **Rental Portal – Move-in:** When enabled, the Additional Period is automatically set to 1. The tenant cannot change it to 0. - **Transfer:** The Cutoff Day setting does not apply to transfers. - **Invoice/Payment Receipts** 1. Added the Reference Number to the transaction table on payment receipts. 2. Added the invoice origination information to the Billing screen. - **Documents** 1. Added the following vehicle macros: 1. Vehicle Width 2. Trailer Width 3. Boat Width 4. Boat Color 5. Boat Registration State 2. Added a new macro for Unit Group. 3. Fixed the Alternate Contact Phone macro issue. 4. Updated the name of the Boat Serial Number/HIN macro. 5. Hidden the Tenant Portal Password macro across all templates and documents. 6. Document headers are now displayed in the document preview during the signing process. - **Integration** 1. **QuickBooks** 1. Implemented synchronization functionality to sync previously failed payments from 6Storage to QuickBooks. 2. **PTI** 1. Updated V3 to include the tenant's phone number in the Telephone field and set the field length to 10 characters. 2. Phone numbers longer than 10 digits will not be truncated and will not be included in the file. 3. Reduced the Tenant Name field limit from 30 to 20 characters. 4. The existing **Last Name, First Name** format is maintained. The Last Name is truncated first while keeping at least one character, followed by truncation of the First Name if required to meet the 20-character limit. - **Autopay SMS** 1. 1. Implemented to sending the SMS when autopay failed. - **Rental Portal** - **New design for Rental hub** 1. Updated the Rental Hub with the new design. 2. Fixed the image display issue on the Rent Unit screen. 3. Fixed issues affecting the iOS mobile version: 1. The page now automatically scrolls to the top when navigating to a new page or when an error toast is displayed. 4.
