How to Merge Two Tenants Into One Tenant Profile

Sometimes you can end up with two tenant profiles for one person.  Here is how you can merge them together. 

 

When a tenant moves into multiple units it is possible to end up with multiple tenant profiles.  

This can happen if the tenant provides separate information such as name, email address, and phone number during the second move in.

Merging tenant profiles together can be done from the tenant's profile by the Super Admin (Account Owner)

 

Things to note

  • Only the Super Admin (Account Owner) has merge permissions
  • Tenants belonging to different facilities within the same account cannot be merged
  • If a tenant profile has all of its units moved to another tenant profile it will disappear 

 

Accessing a Tenant Profile

You can access a tenant’s profile by:

  • Using the search bar at the top of the screen
  • Clicking on the Tenants tab and selecting a tenant from the list

 

 

Merging the tenants

  • Start by selecting Merge Tenant
  • This should be done in the tenant profile of the unit you would like to move to another tenant profile 

 

  • Select the tenant that you would like this profile to be merged with 

 

  • Select the unit that you would like to move to the chosen tenant profile 

 

 

  • Add a comment for your records and select confirm
