Downloading the 6Security Mobile App

6Security's manufacturer has a mobile app.  This can be used by operators to open the gate at their facility from a phone.  

  1. Download the “Sweet Home Mobile” app from your app Store.

  1. Once downloaded, Click the + icon in top right and make sure Infinite is selected.
  2. The user code should be pre-entered, if its not then enter:   11111111
  3. Click the arrow in top right to continue and then choose Scan QR option
  4. With your cover off your motherboard panel, there are two stickers with QR codes in the middle, you will scan the one that is on the same sticker as the UID#.   Cover the other one up with your finger when trying to scan the correct one.
  5. Once it reads it, it will say Connected and then start to download.    It will take a minute to fully download.   Once downloaded, Click Ok, then click the check mark in top right. 
  6. Click the Panel on the Panel list
  7. It’s going to have a bunch of options on the menu.  Click the gears Icon towards the top right.   
  8. Next to each Icon, Lets delete everything except "Event Memory"   Do this by clicking the little red circle next to each icon and hitting delete.
  9. Once you have deleted everything.  On the same screen Click the + button in upper right. 
  10. Choose “Commands”
  11. The top options should be your keypad names, Example: Open Gate.  Select all your keypads, if you have multiple.
  12. Then your main menu should have Open Gate ( or whatever the name of the keypad was) and Events Memory. 
  13. When you click the light bulb next to the Gate Entry, it will send the command to open.   If the light bulb is grey(off), then it’s ready.   If it’s yellow(On), click it to make it grey and then click it again to open the gate.   It’s kind of like a light switch,  Only turning it On will open the gate.
  14. The events memory is any activity going on with the system for the current day.   
  15. Things to watch for, after first downloading, make sure the House icon (with lock) on the menu is green, it’s on the same panel as the gear icon.   If it isn’t, refresh the app by closing/swiping out of it and reopening it. 
  16. When you reopen the app and select your panel, it will ask to redownload settings.   You can do this each time or skip it, if you’re in a rush.
