Managing Leads in the 6Storage Admin Portal

Track and manage potential tenants, including inquiries, reservations, and follow-ups all in one place.

The Leads section allows you to track potential tenants who have expressed interest in renting a unit. From here, you can manage, update, or convert leads into tenants through the move-in process.

 

Accessing the Leads List

  • Click on the Leads tab in the top toolbar
  • You will be directed to the Leads tab by default, where all current leads are listed

Each lead entry displays:

  • Basic details such as name, address, and contact information
  • Unit preferences including unit type, size, and desired features
  • Information on follow-ups with the tenant

 

Managing Leads

Use the Action button on the right-hand side of each lead to choose from the following options:

  • Edit – Update lead information or unit preferences
  • Move In – Begin the move-in process using the information already provided
  • Cancel – Remove the lead from the active list
  • Archive – Hide the lead without deleting it
  • View Follow-Ups – Review any past or scheduled communication or tasks

Moving In a Lead

  • Clicking Move In starts the standard move-in process
  • Any information already entered for the lead will automatically carry over into the rental process

 

Adding a New Lead

To add a new lead manually:

  1. Click Add Lead
  2. Enter the lead’s name, address, and contact information
  3. Specify what unit type or amenities they are interested in
  4. Optionally add:
    • Preferred move-in date
    • How they heard about your facility
    • Preferred follow-up method
  5. Click Save to add them to your leads list
